Enjoying the winter

January has been a snowy and cold month. We have had several snow days and delay which are great now that I work in the school system. I love a snow day with the kids. We are however very excited for spring to come. I am getting Andy signed up for t-ball today which I am very excited about. I can not wait to watch him play. He is also excited.

Maria has been wearing underwear for three days now and I believe we have turned the corner. She does not like wearing pullups anymore. That is great news. I am tired of spending money on diapers. She is getting so big.

Today we are off to a party Maria was invited too. She has a busy social calendar. Should be lots of fun at Chuckie Cheese.

Quiet Sunday

THE COUSINS

The company has left. Today we are spending the day more relaxing and cleaning up. Marks brother and family left yesterday. We had a wonderful week with them. The kids love playing with each other and it was cute to see Emma getting in their with them. She is walking now and wants to do what the big guys are doing.

It is snowing again today. It looks so pretty on the trees. Tomorrow we have off from school so it will be nice to spend another day with the kids. Shawn went up to his cousins house until tomorrow. Makes for a quiet house but he is very much missed.

I am going to make some lentil soup so when we get in later from playing in the snow we will have something nice and warm to eat with our hot cocoa!!

Family visit from NC

We have been having a great time with my niece and nephew. Today we had a two hour delay at school so I got to spend some extra time with kids. They are getting so big and it is nice to see the 5 cousins together. I will have to post pix.

Snowy Day

Today we are getting ready for my BIL, SIL, niece and nephew to visit on Tuesday. Yesterday it snowed and we are going to go outside and enjoy the beautiful winter day. Andres is very excited about his almost 6 yr old cousin visiting.
